Birds I'm Watching: Trip List
Just for the record: Birds sighted on my trip to Lava Beds National Monument and Tulelake, CA (Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge and vicinity) June 9 and 10, 2009 (in no particular order): Cliff swallow, great horned owl, western meadowlark, western grebe, eared grebe, mallards, cinnamon teal*, ruddy duck, red-winged blackbird, yellow-headed blackbird*, double-crested cormorant, American avocet*, common nighthawk, Canada goose, American coot, American white pelican, killdeer, turkey vulture, marsh wren*, Steller’s jay, black-billed magpie*, white-faced ibis*, ring-necked pheasant
