This is a section of the floor of the Attico consignment shop, in Sebastopol, which is in the building that was once the local Ford dealership. I seem to photograph the floor there every time I visit. Serendipitous art.

Serendipitous Art: Worn Floor (September 29, 2016)
When traveling in Europe, I've always loved seeing the edges of stone steps worn into softly dipping curves by centuries of foot traffic. This patch of worn flooring in front of the cash register of a local grocery store is somewhat less dramatic, but it looked like art to me. Serendipitous art.

Serendipitous Art: Loading Dock, Graton (October 9, 2014)
I found this paint-smear composition on a loading dock in Graton, CA. The old warehouse building is now used as artist's studios. It looks like someone was working here.... Unintended art, serendipitous art.

Found Art: Textured Parking Garage Floor, Santa Rosa (April 2, 2012)
Parking garages frequently use heavy texturing on their floors to prevent slipping. This pattern created an intriguing surface. Dark and light patches complete the composition. Found art.
