Every time I go to Berkeley--which isn't really very often--I find pavement markings that I find beautiful. This arrow is virtually worn away--looking almost melancholy. It seems the echo of the newer arrow to the right that was painted over it. Found art.

Found Art: Two Arrows (February 12, 2013)
Roadway arrows fascinate me. I don't know why. These two must have seemed confident and assertive when new. Now they are old and worn away, one overlaid with the other, this second one a newer, younger arrow that itself has faded. Looked like art to me.

Found Art: Paper Cup Stack (October 15, 2012)
I recently noticed the pattern created by the seams on a stack of cone-shaped paper cups sitting beside a water cooler. Looked like art to me. Found art.

Found Art: Record Store Window (August 2, 2012)
Painted records in so many colors. A used record store in San Francisco's Castro district has used images of colored vinyl to good effect to decorate the store front. Found art.
