Art I'm Making: Recent (relatively speaking) collage work

With Art Trails, Sonoma County's premier open studio event (and one of the largest and oldest open studio events in the country) coming up soon (September 18, 19 and September 25, 26), I'm trying to catch up on posting some recent (relatively speaking) work. Here are two collages from January this year, Untitled Collage No. 227 (Santa Rosa) and Untitled Collage No. 229 (Santa Rosa).

The first, No. 227, is a small piece only 5.8 x 6.5cm (2.3 x 2.6 inches). Acrylic on paper, acrylic monotype, fragment of a postage stamp, collage. Matted to 8 x 10 inches. Signed on the mat. Signed and dated on the reverse.

The second is a larger and somewhat more colorful piece. It measures 19.5 x 11.3cm (7.7 x 4.5 inches). Acrylic on paper, acrylic monotype, collage. Mated to 14 x 11 inches. Signed on the mat. Signed and dated on the reverse.
