

First blooms today on the low-growing foxglove by the back wall. This is a perennial foxglove, Digitalis dubnia, rather than the common garden foxglove (Digitalis purpurea). Also blooming today is the dwarf bottlebrush on the side of the house.
As large as life, and twice as natural.
